School Psychologist
Mrs. Case
School psychologists advocate for and support learning and social/emotional health for all students. They help schools successfully improve academic achievement, promote positive behavior and mental health, support diverse learners, create safe/positive school climates,strength family-school partnerships and improve school-wide assessment and accountability.

Just some of what Mrs. Case does:
Works with exceptional children’s staff to identify and address the needs of students with disabilities;
Consults with teachers, families and other school-employed mental health professionals (i.e., school counselors and social workers) to
improve support strategies;
Works with school administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies and collaborate with community providers to coordinate needed services;
Helps staff problem solve around academic and/or behavioral concerns, no matter the severity;
Conducts suicide and threat risk assessments;
Serves as a district crisis responder;
Tests students for special education referrals and, when necessary, helps develop IEP goals.

Mrs. Case serves Heritage Elementary and Wake Forest High School. She is
